Thames' first Community Garden, Bright Smile Garden , was established around the time that T3 began.  It wasn't a T3 initiative, although there has always been a considerable overlap in interest, support and involvement, and a close alignment of values.  You can join in on one of their Thursday morning Garden Days: meet the people, do some work, have a cuppa,  and maybe take some veges home!

After a long period of doubt, planning and community consultation, the Hauraki Terrace Community Garden began in July 2017.
